1. "Our Little Secret" on Netflix
Our Little Secret is a 2024 American romantic comedy film directed by Stephen Herek and written by Hailey DeDominicis. It stars Lindsay Lohan, alongside an ensemble cast featuring Ian Harding, Tim Meadows, Jon Rudnitsky, Judy Reyes, Henry Czerny, Chris Parnell, and Kristin Chenoweth. The film was a part of Lohan's creative partnership with Netflix, under which she also executive produced the project.
Our Little Secret follows Avery (Lohan), who is spending her first Christmas with her boyfriend's family but discovers her ex is also part of the holiday festivities and decides to hide their romantic history. Production began in Atlanta, in January 2024, and concluded late in the following month. It was released on the streaming service, on November 27, 2024.
2. "Dear Santa" on Paramount+
Dear Santa is a 2024 American Christmas comedy film directed by Bobby Farrelly, written by Ricky Blitt, Jack Black, and Peter Farrelly from a story by Ricky Blitt, Peter Farrelly, and Dan Ewen, and starring Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Robert Timothy Smith, Brianne Howey, Hayes MacArthur, Austin Post, and P. J. Byrne. It tells the story of dyslexic and meek six-grader who writes a Christmas list to Santa Claus to help with his problems only for his misspelling to lead to him meeting Satan who helps him out.
The film was released on Paramount+ and digital platforms on November 25, 2024, by Paramount Pictures. It was met with mixed reviews.
3. "Red One" in theaters
Red One is a 2024 American Christmas film directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Chris Morgan, from an original story by Hiram Garcia. It stars Dwayne Johnson, Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, J. K. Simmons, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Nick Kroll, Kristofer Hivju, and Wesley Kimmel. In the film, Callum Drift (Johnson), the head of North Pole security, teams up with the hacker Jack O'Malley (Evans) to locate a kidnapped Santa Claus (Simmons) on Christmas Eve.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Seven Bucks Productions, Chris Morgan Productions, and The Detective Agency, Red One is seen as the first of a Christmas-themed action film franchise. Principal photography for the film began in October 2022 and concluded in February 2023, with filming locations including Atlanta.

The Night Before Christmas In Wonderland is an animation directed by Peter Baynton and written by Carys Bexington, Lewis Carroll and Sara Daddy. It stars Stars Emilia Clarke, Gerard Butler and Simone Ashley.

5. "An Almost Christmas Story" on Disney+
An Almost Christmas Story is a 2024 animated short film directed by David Lowery, who produced and co-wrote alongside Alfonso Cuarón. A young owl named Moon unexpectedly finds himself in a Christmas tree destined for Rockefeller Center. In his attempts to get home, he forms a bond with a lost girl named Luna.
An Almost Christmas Story premiered at the Hamptons International Film Festival on October 14, 2024. It was also screened at the Animation Is Film Festival that same month. It premiered on Disney+ on November 15, 2024.
6. "The Merry Gentlemen" on Netflix
The Merry Gentlemen is a 2024 American Christmas romantic comedy film directed by Peter Sullivan, and starring Britt Robertson and Chad Michael Murray. The film follows a Broadway dancer who stages an all-male, Christmas-themed revue in hopes of saving her parents' small-town performing venue. It was released on Netflix on November 20, 2024.
Broadway dancer Ashley Davis has rarely been back to her hometown in the 12 years since landing a part in the Christmas-themed show Jingle Belles. After a misstep onstage, Jodie the choreographer tells her she has been replaced by a younger dancer to keep it fresh.
7. "Nutcrackers" on Hulu
Nutcrackers is a 2024 American comedy drama film directed by David Gordon Green, written by Leland Douglas, and starring Ben Stiller.
Michael "Mike" Maxwell is pulled away from his job in Chicago, following the death of his sister Janet and her husband. In rural Ohio, he winds up having to look after his nephews Justice, Junior, Samuel, and Simon Kicklighter, as social worker Gretchen Rice looks for a foster home who will take them.
8. "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story" on Hallmark Channel
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is directed by John Putch and written by Julie Sherman Wolfe. It stars Hunter King, Tyler Hynes, and Ed Begley Jr.
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan and her family are competing to win the team's Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by the director of fan engagement Derrick.
9. “That Christmas” on Netflix
That Christmas is a 2024 British animated Christmas fantasy comedy film produced by Locksmith Animation and DNEG Animation, and directed by Simon Otto in his directorial debut. Written by Richard Curtis and Peter Souter, it follows entwined storylines based on short stories from That Christmas and Other Stories by Curtis and illustrator Rebecca Cobb. The voice cast features Brian Cox, Fiona Shaw, Jodie Whittaker and Bill Nighy.
That Christmas premiered at the BFI London Film Festival on 19 October 2024, and was released on Netflix on 4 December 2024. That Christmas follows a series of entwined tales about love and loneliness, family and friends, and Santa Claus making a big mistake, not to mention an enormous number of turkeys!
10. "Carry-On" on Netflix
Carry-On is a 2024 American action thriller film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and written by T.J. Fixman. The film stars Taron Egerton, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler and Jason Bateman. Its plot follows a young TSA officer who is blackmailed into letting a nerve agent onboard a flight during Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Eve, a mysterious traveler meets with bratva smugglers at their Christmas tree farm. Killing them to cover his tracks, the Traveler departs with a carry-on suitcase.
